RICHARD MILLE Richard Mille RM 27-05 Flying Tourbillon Rafael Nadal Floating Tourbillon Watch——Ultra-light and ultra-thin
The entire watch weighs only 38g (including the strap), and the case thickness is only about 9 mm
The entire watch size is 37.25× 47.25× 9mm
RICHARD MILLE has just launched an amazing new joint work with the famous tennis player Rafael Nadal – “RM 27-05 Flying Tourbillon Rafael Nadal” floating tourbillon watch. The entire watch is ultra-light and can withstand acceleration shocks of up to 14,000g. It is the lightest and strongest tourbillon watch in the world to date.
This RM 27-05 took five years to develop a new carbon fiber composite material, “Carbon TPT® B.4”. This high-tech material has a 4% higher density than conventional Carbon TPT®, a 15% higher fiber hardness, and a 30% higher resin strength. The material structure has been anisotropically optimized, keeping it light and extremely tough, providing the strongest impact resistance of the series to date.
The new watch mirror uses PMMA ultra-light polymer to replace the traditional sapphire crystal, making the weight of the entire watch lighter while providing higher transparency and anti-glare performance.
The fully open hollow dial directly presents a unique geometric mechanical aesthetics – the V-shaped bridge plate and the tourbillon splint form a striking visual impact, the hollow barrel directly presents the winding status, 2 o’clock is the winding gear set, and 8 o’clock gear sets are stacked to form a perfect connection.
